Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Despite introducing the new generation of the show, the makers have failed to impress their audience. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Armaan and Abhira promise to not be husband and wife. The Poddars refuse to accept Abhira as their daughter-in-law.

Today’s episode starts with Dadi and Sanjay expressing their displeasure over Armaan marrying Abhira. Dadi states that they will not lose their values, but Abhira needs to lose. Sanjay tells Dadi how the same thing is happening again and how Armaan is about to repeat Madhav’s mistake. Sanjay declares he will take measures to not let anyone know about Armaan’s marriage. On the other hand, Abhira gets emotional and calls out for her mother. She shouts how much she needs her mother. Ruhi too sits there emotionally, as she remembers Armaan’s betrayal. Armaan apologises to her.


Armaan and Ruhi have a war of words, where she asks him for justification about his true relationship with Abhira. Rohit sees Abhira crying and goes to console her. He tells her that he will give her company until Armaan comes there. She thanks him and makes hot chocolate for him. Armaan stands up for himself when Ruhi doubts his reason to marry Abhira. He tells her that he is not that disgusting to take advantage of someone’s death. Ruhi calls him a liar and recounts the times he lied to her. Abhira and Rohit meet Armaan and Ruhi. Rohit reminds Ruhi to call Manish and she goes from there. 

As the episode comes to an end, Madhav, Vidya, Manoj and Manisha talk about Abhira. As Vidya refuses to accept Abhira, Manisha asks her if would have done the same if Rohit would have married someone without telling her. As Vidya looks at her stunned, Manisha says that she wouldn’t have as blood relationships are always stronger. Vidya gets emotional. In the upcoming episode, Dadi states that only Ruhi’s muh dikhai rasam will be conducted after Vidya suggests that Abhira’s rasam should also happen. Armaan suggests that Abhira should become friends with Ruhi.
